KAILUA HIGH SCHOOL SURFRIDER TALENT SHOWCASE 2020
Mr. Peneyra's Ethnic Studies students, in coordination with Mr. Richey, had a plain vanilla discussion via Skype with students from Gifu, Japan on Friday February 7. The discussion was on the differences and similarities of gender roles in the U.S. and Japan. Although the topic was serious in nature, the exchange was lively and well participated on both sides! The kicker here was that the students from Japan came to school Saturday morning in order to talk with us on Friday afternoon!
